I-Play and Firemint released their arcade racing game Fast & Furious to the App Store ($5.99)
The game follows the story of the movie and includes US-Mexico border tunnel chases, Los Angeles street race auditions, straight races, fuel tanker hijacking and GPS checkpoint rallies.
Do you have the guts to put your ride on the line? In the Fast and the Furious: Pink Slip "it doesn’t matter if you win by an inch or a mile," to score street cred and your opponent’s car. Fill up your garage with choice wheels if you win, but take the bus home if you lose.
Test your street racing talents in 4 different types of races: drift, drag, point 2 point and police chase. Take advantage of your motion sensor to steer even precisely your cars and push the limits!Challenge others in wireless multiplayer races. If you beat them you take the car right out of their game!
The game features 32 different vehicles through 32 races. Every car has different strengths and handling, and some times picking the right car decides about win or lose. You've also got 4 unique game modes what deffenetly keep the game interesting and gives the right motivation to finish the game. These includes drift racing, police chases and drag racing.
The most impressing feature in Fast & Furious is that you can upload replay-videos of your best laps to You Tube. Just create an account and start a race in the online arena, after you complited your lap just sync your race data with Firement's CloudCell servers.
The unique story and YouTube replay mode is what makes Fast & Furious really different from other racing games at the app store. I was really surprised by this title, and had a lot of fun playing it. For all racing game fans, i highly recommend this game.
